The story
A "Greetings from Hattiesburg, Miss." postcard from the early 1900s: a portrait and five scenes of the town's industries (lumber, cotton, a cement-block factory and truck farms) set in the petals of a pansy. From the Cooper Postcard Collection, Mississippi Department of Archives and History. Printed on thick enhanced-matte paper in a black wood frame, 12×18 in.
